Q: Will I be able to choose my photos?

A: Your photos will be hand-selected by the photographer for you. I take great care in choosing photos that showcase variety, flattering poses, and unique expressions. If you'd prefer to choose your own photos, this service can be made available for $50.00 per hour of session length in addition to your session price. You will receive a digital gallery with all unedited images and they will include a watermark for protection. The watermark will be removed from the final images you receive. Photos must be selected within 30 days of receiving the gallery.

Q: When is my payment due?

A: On the day of your session. Please bring cash or check (made out to Alli Mullikin).

Q: I forgot to bring payment to my session. Can I pay later?

A: Yes, but your photos will not be edited or released to you until payment has been made. Payment must be made within 30 days of the session date.

Q: What time does my session actually begin?

A: Your session will begin promptly at the agreed upon time. I highly encourage you to arrive 15 minutes early to meet with me. We will take a moment to get acquainted, and then make our way over to the photo shoot location.

Q: I'm running a few minutes late. Can I still have my full session time with you?

A: It's important that I respect the session times of all my clients. Because of this, sessions will begin and end promptly at our agreed upon time. If you arrive late and wish to continue your session, you'll simply receive whatever time is left. If you will be more than 20 minutes late, the session will be canceled, and will only be rescheduled if a 50% rescheduling fee (of session price) has been paid prior to rescheduling.

Q: Can I purchase the RAW files?

A: RAW files are not available for purchase

Q: What sort of editing can I expect to see on my photos?

A: All sessions will include a light edit and retouching. Retouching includes teeth whitening (if needed), cuts or scrapes removal, and acne removal. My editing style includes color correction, sharpening, brightness correction, and a small highlighting of the subjects; overall, this keeps your images sharp, professional, and true to color.

Q: Can you create photo composites (i.e. add or remove people in a photo)?

A: Not at this time

Q: I'm unhappy with my session or photos. Can I get a refund?

A: Refunds are not provided. If you are unhappy with your session or photos, please reach out to me ASAP.

Q: How can I reschedule or cancel my session?

A: You can call me to reschedule or cancel your session up to 24 hours before your session. If done within the 24 hours before your session, you will be charged a 50% rescheduling fee. This is not available for weddings or events.

Q: What does "around 30-40 digital images" mean?

A: The smallest number of images (30 images) is the minimum amount of images you will receive from your session and the largest number (40 images) is the maximum number. You will always receive the maximum number of images if: you arrive 15 minutes early to your session, you do not have multiple outfit changes or multiple locations, everyone cooperates with the photo taking process. The photo taking process is different for everyone, and can be unpredictable with small children especially, therefore, I can not always guarantee you will receive the maximum (and in some cases minimum) number of images.

Q: What does off-set time mean?

A: This means the time you have available for travel and/or outfit changes. Some packages offer off-set time which allows us to travel to a new location or for you to have outfit changes: this time does not count against your session/shooting time. For example, a 2 hour session for a Senior offers 30 minutes of off-set time. The 2 hours will be dedicated to picture taking time only, and the 30 minutes will be dedicated to outfit changes or travel only.

Q: Can I still do an outfit change if my session package does not include off-set time?

A: Yes, however, this will count towards your picture taking time. You can use your session time for whatever you'd like. Please be aware that the minimum number of images promised might not be met if your picture taking time is used for outfit changes or travel.

Q: Can I purchase off-set time for my wedding or event?

A: Off-set time is complimentary for the session it is available for. Off-set time is not available for weddings or events

Q: Can some of my session photos receive professional retouching instead of just light retouching?

A: Professional retouching includes diminishing and smoothing of wrinkles, smoothing and/or removal of stray hairs, skin color and brightness correction (dark circles under eyes), and eyes definition. Professional retouching can be purchased for $10 per photo. (Professional retouching is included for Headshots only).

Q: What's the turnaround time for my photos?

A: All sessions excluding weddings and events will be delivered within a week of your session.
